When the strength of a wire terminal is critical to your manufacturing or field installation work, the Mark-10 WT3-200 is the tester to keep on the bench or in your truck. This handy device measures the force it takes to pull a terminal off of the end of a wire with a diameter of up to 1/4”. A terminal attachment plate holds the eye-terminal while a lever grabs the wire and pulls against the secured terminal, producing up to 200 lbF (1,000 N) of force. The force gauge reads the real-time and peak force required to break the terminal loose, and can store up to 1,000 readings for output to your PC. Programmable set points make simple “pass/fail” measurements easy. The WT3-200 also works well for testing the pull-off force required to dislodge a terminal or cap on the end of a tube. The device has mounting holes for bench mounting, and an optional carrying case is available for protection in the field. To secure the end of your test sample, choose either the ring terminal fixture (shaft sizes 1/8” to 3/8”), or a blank terminal fixture you can machine for your own custom needs.
